EXPLORE THE LOCAL AREA
Woodlands View Lodge is warm and comfortable with the added benefit of being all on one level. The lodge can accommodate up to four people plus a cot and up to three well-behaved pets. There is one king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom. There are two bathrooms, one being en-suite to the master bedroom. In the main living area are comfy Laura Ashley sofas to relax on in front of the flat-screen TV with the full Sky package and a DVD player, plus a range of books, dvds and games. There’s also a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen.
At the rear of the lodge, is outdoor seating near the hot tub. Here is an ideal place to enjoy the stars and the idyllic view across the meadow to the woods and the lake beyond. Rudyard Lake can be seen in the winter and in the summer the trees are covered in glorious foliage. Enjoy the wildlife from your window at the feeding station at the end of your garden. The hot tub is roomy and sumptuous, making it ideal for relaxation in winter or on a summer’s day or evening. This lodge also has an enclosed garden, so if you have brought your dogs with you, not only are you surrounded by fantastic walks but your family pet can be left safe roaming in its own grounds.

From Woodlands View Lodge, the woods lead on a gently sloping path to Rudyard Lake where an array of water activities are available (depending on the season).
